Until recently a strong but immoral leader could only do so much damage... taking a tribe in the wrong direction, making a city into a cesspool, pushing a country into a destructive war... but now those same greedy sociopathic leaders are able to pollute the entire biosphere while sending countless species to extinction. And they are driving us toward our doom.
