For purple users, i also recommend turning on this push notification setting. We’re going to tie the friend filter button to this setting in an update soon

Don’t tie the friend filter to this. I like being able to filter push notifications differently than what shows up in push notifications tab.
I don’t want to have to set two different settings everytime i switch friend filter on/off
Don’t you think it’s common to want to only see notifications from people you follow, but still be able to see notifications from people you don’t follow in the notifications tab?

Yeah i can see that, but i dont know how you would achieve both things, unless there was an option for “friend filter updates this setting” or something

Doesn’t it currently work like that right now? I have the setting toggled on to only receive push notifications from people I follow on, but have the friend filter off.
