According to an extraterrestrial source I have been hearing lately you should do this:

Follow your highest excitement.

What excites you the most to do in every present moment?

It doesn't need to be a life path career or project.

What options to act on your excitement have you now and what can you do? Choose one based on the feeling of excitement and go for it.

Repeat.

You don't know and cannot know the way you have to go or need to go to develop yourself and your soul from here in your mundane brain consciousness. It is a higher self function.

The higher self gives you the hints and clues for whatever you have to do in your path through feelings . Excitement or disgust.

It's the thread you need to follow.

It's the ordaining principle.

It's the creator of chances, luck serendipities, synchronicities.

If you think in your rational mind that following your excitement would be counterproductive is because you hold a negative belief around what it means to do what you feel. For example "doing this will never sustain me".

Follow your excitement.
