OPTE.org mapped the internet as a graph using Route View tables.

There have been a few projects to map the network hardware (the servers) and the bandwidth employed.

This was never really done for second order layers such as clients, or third order stuff content.

nostr intends to be decentralised and has a different structure as a network.

In theory it could look more like a fabric than the lumpy blob that is the internet.
