A while ago I deleted my twitter account. Then, a few days ago I had a moment of weakness and thought "let me just peek what's going on". Tried to sign up with a throwaway email by simplelogin.com
My signup was rejected. And I m glad. I didn't want to participate in this anymore. I don't really miss twitter and think elons takeover has resolved exactly 0 problems of the underlying architecture. The future belongs to open protocols - like nostr.
When I open my nostr app, I don't get ads. Only braindead circle jerk of bitcoin maxis and monero enthusiasts. :)

Completely agree. A closed platform like Twitter will never be able to offer the freedom that we have here on Nostr.

-too much advertising
-tweets seems selected
-too much politics
-too much bots
but i needed more than one try. at the beginning the nostr clients were not that good.
