The lady who cuts my hair is from Ukraine. She told me that her mother passed away recently from a heart attack and she hasn't been able to see her since 2019 because of COVID-19, then the war. Since the war started, I have seen the physical impact it's had on her just from the stress alone. She has probably lost 20 pounds and aged a lot since the war started. She has a lot of family in Ukraine. The last time I saw her, she said she was voting for Trump. I told her to be positive that things would get better. I said that 2025 was going to be a great year and she might be able to visit her family. I really hope Trump finds a way to end the war. Today, thinking about her having some hope, it makes me happy.
