Try Grayjay, they usually fix these issues a lot quicker and they have support for other platforms as well, such as Odysee and Rumble.

YouTube changed a few things & broke it for a while.

Both pipepipe & newpipe have updates & work again for me.

Check F-Droid for updates.

Unfortunately, YT seems to be creating issues faster than NewPipe can fix them. It's why I mostly migrated over to Grayjay. Not only does it tend to work more consistently but it doesn't require the entire app to be updated in order for it to work. It basically has blocking for each platform which can be set to auto-update when you launch the program.
