I got ESPN+ last month and have been watching MMA again. But that’s not the point of the note…

Being captive to ads I noticed that the commercials cover a narrow range: fast food / junk food, pharmaceuticals, cars (debt instruments) and alcohol. That’s it.

I can’t believe how disgusting and dysfunctional the fiat world is.

Fast food and junk food is literally poison. Pharmaceuticals are literally poisons that are unscrupulously “prescribed” to paper over the damage junk food does. Debt is literally a form of slavery. And alcohol is an addictive poison that most people use to escape reality and feel okay for a short time.

Hard to fathom what is “normal” today. I am so thankful to not be part of it. They’ll never take me alive.

Not sure about the US but in Canada (and the UK) you can add gambling.

The state runs all the vice rackets up here including booze and drugs. No brothels yet but it’s surely coming.

For the UFC the gambling ads are embedded in the programming. They give live odds and plaster the draftkings BS brand all over the fight card. They even have bet segments where a bimbo pops on for 30 seconds and she enlightens viewers on which bets are “good” to make 😂

Definitely. I’m pretty sure the main reason they all advertise so much is so the are untouchable to the media to discuss/criticize since the advertisers pay the bills.

Pharma, industrial food, alcohol, and gambling are main factors in creating a dumber, sicker, more poverty minded population. Yet the msm won’t talk about any of that

Nope, they actively normalize all of it. Insanity is the new normal.

In Ontario it's a massive blitz of gambling ads
