Transaction fees are high though. Anyone with a little more technical knowledge able to explain this to me?

I think there are a lot of NFTs being inscribed in the blockchain. The fad isn’t over yet.
Thanks - so fees are high from moving BTC around as opposed to actual demand for BTC rising (hence price not going up)? I get #BTC but not really from a technical point of view.
