you should check out or follow the work of @npub1ye5ptcxfyyxl5vjvdjar2ua3f0hynkjzpx552mu5snj3qmx5pzjscpknpr , he is making a client nostrudel.ninja . I believe he has the same desires for moderated communities, and is working on a client that could support this use case 🤙

It's also just a great client, imo

I just followed him, thank you for that. I really appreciate it.

I use nostrudle on the spring android app, bc I can't figure out how to login to the nostrudle PWA that I installed from Chrome on my phone.

Using it on spring is ok. Just kinda cluttered and compact.

I spent a lot of time posting and creating communities ppl can participate in yesterday. But no one is using them.

So, there isn't much of anything to interact with right now. Which is really fucking lame and disappointing.

Why do you think no one is interested in creating or posting in communities here?

What do you think?

its just too new (not only nostr, but clients with community functionality is new within nostr), unfortunately you'd probably need to be willing to bootstrap it pretty hard..engaging individuals on here, getting people in other social media to cross over, fostering the community as the tools are being built in real time. It could be a very long time before it looks like reddit, but it would be incredible and way better if one did it on this protocol and not one that is completely captured 🤙
