I didn’t say “vote and do nothing else”
Discussion
No you didn't say that, and I didn't say that you did. But you have indicated that you believe in validating the system that discounts your freedom on a daily basis. I choose not to validate that system.
I don’t think voting is validating the system. It’s not like if everyone chose to not vote, they would say “that’s it, current system is invalidated, let’s make a new one”….
The reality is we’re in the system we’re in, and voting is a (small) way each person can have some small bit of power to influence things.
Do you know in some places the percent of people voting is like 20% ? That means a small group of people is deciding things for everyone else.
Has a politician ever done something you liked? Some politicians have signed pro bitcoin laws - I like that.
So participating in the system isn't validating it? Ok. 🤣
Can’t you disagree with the whole system and also vote? That’s all I’m saying
Let me answer that with a question. If a stove didn't work to cook food, would you still try to use it to cook food?
I don’t think that analogy works well.
What about this one:
You’re a passenger in a plane and people are deciding to choose who should fly the plane.
