Or https. Http won't work.

Although, having nostrudel running locally means it is safe to just paste your nsec key. You'd never do that to a copy running on someone else's server, but a copy you're running locally is fine.

I can't. It prompts me to enter in a password when i try to and nothing happons .

That passed prompt is for the secure browser storage where the app stores your nsec key. If it's your first time, enter a new password. You'll be asked for the password whenever you do something like changing your profile.

If you ever forget your password, delete your browser cache and you'll be asked to enter your nsec again on next use and you'll get to enter a new password.

I can't get it to work on mobile. Tried two browsers

Oh..haha..that's important information. Yeah, as you've now discovered, it only works with desktop browsers. The Firefox browser for Android with the Alby addon will work for some. Nostrudel works ok, but performance is unusable.

For phones, you are really better off with a dedicated phone app like Amethyst or Damos. The CPUs in phones and the browsers were never designed to run web apps like desktop browsers can.

Plus, if you value your privacy and security, do not ever use a browser based client on a phone. Use the orbit tor proxy on your phone and set your phone client to use orbit as it's proxy.
