Their decisions affect your life way more profoundly than any so-called election or congressional/parliamentary debate.

Larry Fink, as everyone probably knows, is the chief/captain/head honcho of BlackRock, an investment firm that likes to shape society and the rules for people's ability to earn a living by tying their investment money to certain conditions pertaining to things like hiring practices (think racism), "environmental" factors (such as relying on unreliable energy sources, thus raising prices and creating uncertain supply), and adherence to certain neo-religious societal trends (call it "rainbow propaganda", this one seems to be pure humiliation and division).

Failure to comply with these conditions results in not being able to fund business ventures using their money and they, along with the other two, Vanguard and State Street, control about 88% of the capital in S&P500 companies, so good luck crowd-funding millions if you're a large company.

All of this activity is, of course, not secret, but conducted in the open, tolerated and at least implicitly vouched for by the monopolist on aggressive violence, the State. So just like with the Pinkerton agency over 100 years ago, any popular rebellion against these unjust practices will ultimately result in those rebels being detained or gunned down.
