We might be legally obliged to follow the law, but we are not necessarily morally obliged to do so. In fact, if laws are sufficiently oppressive, then we might feel called upon by our conscience to break them.

Therefore, it comes down to our ability to break immoral laws without hurting ourselves, our families or our fellow citizens. I think #nostr and #bitcoin - providing there are many of us - allow us to finally do this.
