Are we as a human civilisation ever going to sit down and collectively address the fact that we lived through a quasi-pandemic and our govts virtually cosplayed their way through it as if it was the actual end of times?

It's almost as if we aren't a truth seeking species anymore, merely a comfort seeking one.

What is missing post Covid is trust. The fallout is representative govt as a system is dead in the water. The West moves to cryptographically secured direct participatory democracies or we go into a modern dark age filled with civil wars across the globe.
