A lot of people here are worried about relays getting centralized. if you will say bad things about me please do it. i want less share of users, lol.

There is not much love or funding towards relays on Nostr. i am fine with that. but others may need funds. so a review of relays can be useful for people.

There could be a culture where people choose the relays intentionally and support the relays however they can and know that they should support them could be helpful for initiating a Nostr ecosystem. An economy will allow an ecosystem to flourish.

I know there is not many users and users are over provided with relays at this point and the relays won't have proper funding for a while. Just saying there could be a initiation of a culture at some point. I am not saying it will solve the relay funding issue..

i think we wrote sort of the same thing at the same time <3 . I def think there needs to be more story telling on how special relay is. We were so hyped up over relays, now i don't even know what relays I'm using. If there is a grant possibility for relay devs, this would be a perfect opportunity to help build a profit generating business in the long run. I think a marketplace would indirectly help people decide which relays they want to pay for and why. This is not my tech field but if there is anything i can help with, business plan, write-ups, happy to help. And will cheer-lead along the way!

as a relay op my content would be biased. someone else should do it.
