Two competing #UN resolutions, one by #Russia and the other by the #US, were voted down. However, after all this it is clear that the US is also losing ground within the UN, which was set up from the outset to support US resolutions.

In other not-so-distant times, the U.S. resolution would have passed with flying colors.

But not any more.
