True, but I didn’t mean permanently down. Yesterday at a restaurant their internet was down and I was lucky I had cash otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to eat there. Cash is still very useful in this scenario.
cashu ecash would be usable in a temporary outage, can make offline payments.
