Satoshi never said it has to be used for daily payments
it already is used for daily payments i.e. in Madeira where there are close to 150 merchants accepting payments via lightning.

FYI I like bitcoin being used daily, especially the way it allows for zaps, but also it’ll still be totally fine if it isn’t
