When I have an attack I turn off my phone (don’t know why), and I meditate.
Sometimes is easy to stop thinking, and that’s it…
When you can’t get out of a thought, another way of meditation is to repeat nonsense like “ohmmmm ohmmmm ohmmmm”. Sound stupid but really works.
Last but not least, you can sing to yourself.
