over the last 2 years i've a several nostr web clients. this isn't a review. this is just a reflection, a mere rambling of thoughts portrayed across the decentralized social web for you to consume.

in the before times, i used astral.ninja. it was the best! it had plenty of features, the UI was retro looking, and it had zaps before we even called them zaps. however after a couple of months, it was time to move on. monlovesmango, is it over? at long last, no king rules forever, my son.

the new kid on the web app block was snort.social. it was fast. it was simple. it had a lot of features. i used snort for the better part of the next year as my web daily driver. kieran was killin' it. eventually though, snort became slow, things wouldn't load, and i had a lot of daily issues that just made it no longer enjoyable to use.

i moved onto primal.net. primal had almost zero features, but at least it would work for the ones it did have. primal was a strong daily driver for a long while for me. now that seems to have changed a bit with the latest primal 2.0 launch. the mobile apps are solid and without issue, seriously they're great, but the primal.net 2.0 web app has a lot of issues for me. i can't post notes or images without constantly reloading first. that's annoying.

i've been using coracle.social and nostrudel.ninja a lot more recently. previously, i only used them to test new features and to check-in on development. these clients don't have the most streamlined user interfaces, but you do get used to it and it's hard to go back after you start to rock all of their features. they're powerful.

we're early and we'll be switching clients often. don't marry a single client. be promiscuous.

For me, its 3. coracle.social has a special place in my heart (the first client I used to post, it just looks different, kinda avant garde in autumn tones, love to watch my WoT score fly around seemingly randomly, and hodlbod seems like a nice guy), nostrudel.ninja is my top go-to while using web (non native app like Amethyst), nostrudel has so many functions, and iris.to is where I got my "verified " username (and I'm thankful for what Martti Malmi has done for bitcoin. Simple and clean UI (and ecash wallet built in to boot).
