Despite the overall hype for LN we don't see the expected raise in usage in mechants.

Do you know why?

Paying on-chain seems like retro to me and I do it only for very big amounts. Why people do it for small payments? Do you have any insight to this?

1. Low onchain fees

2. Self-hosted lightning is hard for end users

3. Custodial lightning makes little sense (except for micropayments, streaming, etc.)
