Like fiat and non-bitcoin crypto, bitcoin also doesn't have intrinsic value and like the others, bitcoin is a store of value and a medium of exchange because people accept it as such. All three are durable, as in they don't spoil like, say, bananas, and fungible - one unit is as good as the next to settle a debt. So by this definition, all three are money but the vital difference is that the supply of bitcoin cannot be increased "by fiat", meaning everyone's share in it is unalienable. Also unlike the others, no central authority can regulate how bitcoin is to be used, enabling true meritocracy.

Like gold but easier to carry and harder to lose.

Paper and fraud is NOT money, nor a store of value. Hard money beats them all and only #Bitcoin can be owned by the individual slave to set him free. 🌞

I would love to believe you but if a policeman points his gun at my family, I will probably give him my bitcoin in "taxes".

Don't get me wrong, I'm on your side, I just refuse to overlook the fact that any asset, hard or fraudulent, inflationary or deflationary, can be taken by force.

Private ownership of gold was illegal in the united States from the 1930s to the 1970s.

It wasn't inflated away, it was simply outlawed and people complied more or less peacefully.

Love to see that played out in reality. Apparently you live in FUD and beLIEve in authority. I'm not a beLIEver myself.

For the eternal spiritual soul there is neither birth nor death…For one who has taken birth, death is certain; and for one who is dead, birth is certain. So what need is there for lamentation?

After the destruction of the body, the soul is not destroyed, nor can it be. The spiritual soul is always new and fresh, imperishable, and eternal. People foolishly neglect this actual self and misidentify themselves with their bodies and minds. Like a bird in a cage, the soul needs spiritual knowledge (soul food) to progress to a better cage in the next life in order to learn how to fly free of the cage altogether ultimately reaching its constitutional position as an eternal spiritual being in complete knowledge and bliss.

Thus in human society there must be a balance between matter and spirit. We are actually spirit souls, but somehow we became encaged within the material body, where we have to eat, sleep, mate, and defend. The soul itself does not need to do any of those things. A civilization that only looks after the body’s necessities and does not care for the soul is unbalanced. If one only feeds the body and not the soul, then one has been deceived and deluded by false ego. How foolish!

People are unhappy and dissatisfied because there is no balance. Everyone simply takes care of the body, but they have no information about the soul and its needs. The soul is the real substance; the body is only a covering. The care of the self (soul) is our constitutional duty. We should know the soul’s needs and not be simply busy supplying the body its comforts. Bodily comforts cannot enable anyone to exist permanently.

The real necessity of life is to supply the comforts of the soul, and THE SOUL CANNOT BE COMFORTED BY PHYSICAL OR MENTAL ADJUSTMENTS. Because the soul is a different substance, it must be given spiritual sustenance. That is God consciousness...

He who lives NOT in FUD enjoys each day as a gift. Use it or lose it while you have it. 🌞
