Sometimes the people who are part of the psyop don't even realize they are part of the psyop.
It's compartmentalization and a favorite tool of the intel agencies, which in turn are themselves a favorite tool of the ruling elites going back to Rome. When emporers had networks of operatives they relied on for intelligence.
Anyway...point being, some core members might mean well, but they are not able to see outside themselves far enough to notice the sphere of influence surroundung them. To confront the possibility that part of their reality is actively being socially engineered is too crushing to their psyche. In fact, some of them may have even been selected and groomed for this very personality trait.
For the money powers, ignoring bitcoin hasn't worked and ridicule has also failed...it would make sense at some point they try infiltration. And where would that infiltration likely be? Core.
