You pay real market prices because it’s P2P, which is usually about 2% higher. So you’re selling your personal identity to an exchange for a 2% discount. Seems like a bad deal to me.

doesn't affect me personally, as there is a private P2P network locally where I am, but I'm sure people are choosing the privacy trade off, to get more Bitcoin for their Fiat.
When I looked into RoboSats etc a couple of years ago, sellers were looking for 5 to 10% premium, and platform fees were high..
Not just RoboSats, but other No KYC platforms too.
The principle of these platforms is exactly right. I hope the costs are now more favourable..
