apple has always been like this, even when their logo was like this. steve jobs was a cult leader and his methods of indoctrination have been carried on in his absence.
I actually loved Steve and I love Apple 💜

i know y'all apple followers are gonna call us out group but that just proves the point.
even the design of the UIs is made to increase friction for you to adopt other computer systems.
and seriously, the newest trend in crapple UIs with these two tone windows is the absolute worst for working in darkness, and in bright light both. a totally pure example of how apple deliberately makes their products odd so you find it hard to get used to other systems.
some of the things are more ergonomic. but very few. mouse scroll direction being one.
