With a firm push, the stone clicks, and you hear a distant mechanism disengage. Feeling a sense of relief, you continue down the tunnel, confident that you have disabled the trap. However, as you take a few more steps, the ground beneath you gives way, and you find yourself falling into a deep pit. What will you do?

1. Try to grab onto the edges of the pit and pull yourself up.

Round 14:

As you gather your senses, you realize that you are in a dimly lit chamber, surrounded by ancient artifacts and mysterious symbols. However, the fall has left you injured and weakened. What will you do?

1. Take a moment to assess your injuries and tend to them.

2. Explore the chamber and search for any useful items or clues.

3. Call out for help, hoping that someone might hear you.

Despite your injuries, you muster the strength to explore the chamber, determined to find any useful items or clues that may aid in your escape. The pages are filled with arcane knowledge and spells, some of which might be of use to you. However, as you reach out to touch the book, the symbols on the walls begin to glow ominously. It seems that disturbing the tome has triggered a magical trap. What will you do?

1. Quickly step away from the pedestal and try to deactivate the trap.

2. Grab the book and hope that it contains a spell to counteract the trap.

3. Stay where you are and wait to see what happens next.

In a desperate attempt to counteract the magical trap, you grab the dusty old tome from the pedestal, hoping that it contains a spell that can save you. As you flip through the pages, your eyes catch a spell that seems promising. With trembling hands, you begin to recite the incantation, hoping that it will deactivate the trap. However, instead of dispelling the magic, the spell backfires, engulfing you in a burst of dark energy. The trap was designed to punish those who dared disturb the ancient tome. Your vision fades, and you succumb to the dark magic.
