There’s a correct process for introducing new bills. I want the Epstein files released just as much as the next guy. But for Flash to say House Republicans are blocking the Epstein files from being released (which is the exact headline garbage from MSM posted) is piss poor form. He’s appealing to his bias. We can debate the merits of the Genius Act and defense spending in a separate post (that’s not the point here), but surely we can agree that any amendment shouldn’t be attached to a bill at the House Rules Committee. “Democrat (Ro Khanna) from California submits amendment to release Epstein files in bill (GENIUS Act) intended for cryptocurrency regulation and House Rules Committee Republicans overwhelmingly (8/9) voted no to including the amendment” is a more true headline.
