i yelled in in my head in french more during his presidency than sarkozy. however, he is an excellent politician and he believes in french sovereignty first. brexit undermined french sovereignty because of the disastrous economic ramifications of the trade policy shift. france recovered quickly, only to be rugged by the pandemic. france recovered faster than any other eu nation. compare the debt of the other countries to france and the trade deficits of the other major leaders in the eu post pandemic and post brexit. germany, for example, which just finished a massive work bailout from france this summer....
