So far interesting points about how raising rates will not stop inflation in the long run. He also defines “direct” and “indirect” causes of inflation. I respect Dr. Cochrane as a critical thinker, but so far this book has only made me more convinced the free market needs to be let loose! Mainly bc it’s the only moral system, but also bc these models are so complex that no group of people, or AI, can manage them.
