I just read a great article about how to get a 60 gallon fuel reserve for yourself and family.

Buy one good quality 5gallon gas container per month and fill it. On your 12th month use the first gallon you bought (because gas does not last over a year without additives) to save some gas and use some that you likely bought at a lower price. Each month fill the next one you empty and keep going. Empty and use one per month in the order you bought them in.

Have a reserve should the shit hit the fan for your car or for your generator.

Not my idea, but a very good one to pass on.
