Yesterday, a federal court put a halt to Trump Nazi regime plans to federalize the Oregon National Guard and use them in Portland against the supposed “war zone” that the Trump Nazi regime claims exists in the city. This kind of salubrious development would have given other aspiring American tyrannies pause, but the Trump Nazi regime’s response is to order troops from the *California* National Guard to go to Portland.
It is difficult to be both petty and dangerously authoritarian at the same time, but somehow, these people-resembling-things manage.
Meanwhile, my state’s governor, JB Pritzker is saying—and this is entirely accurate—that the only people who are trying to make my home city of Chicago into a “war zone” are officials of the Trump Nazi regime.

This social media post is dedicated to everyone who told me, back in the aftermath of the 2016 election, that I and people like me were overreacting to those election results and we should give the then-soon-to-be-45th-president a chance, who forgot just how absolutely awful, disgusting, dangerous and incompetent he proved to be during the course of his first term and never apologized for pooh-poohing my concerns and the concerns of others like me, who decided to vote for him again in 2020 and/or 2024, and who claimed, yet again, as though their goddamned memories had been wiped clean, that I and people like me were overreacting to the 2024 election results, and that we should give the then-soon-to-be-47th-president a chance.
