Already close to the middle of the book

lots of actions and cute critters (stoats, badgers, bunnies, hare ...)

fun read, good story (for kids 8-14)

Basically Lord of the Ring with rabbits and badgers (for the heroes) and foxes, stoats, weasels and rats (for the villains)
