I fell slightly backwards and landed thumb and forefinger onto the ground unfortunately there was a gerbil running there and while I didn't completely crush him they were old and it was enough to kill the poor thing due to a seizure. Not a fun experience at all so I completely sympathise with what you.
The only good thing was planting him in the garden under a blackberry so it could flourish and be fed to the rest of them 🙂
