Spoke with a friend this weekend about Bitcoin and nostr. Unfortunately he’s still too ignorant and convinced about gambling his money on altcoins and not realizing what money is.

It’s just too sad that majority of people have no clue about our monetary system, what money truly is and what is about to happen with it in the future.

They rather keep gambling on the next big thing instead of doing the real work of study.

Explain them unregistered securities and they come at you with the face like “what are securities”… it’s just sad how our broken money turned everybody into speculators and gamblers.

You do you but I just want you to realize one thing. Bitcoin, not crypto.

Its hard to convince people, even those you are close too. Now I just plant seeds and mention relevant things in passing, when they are ready they will come speak to me and I will be ready to help them on their way.

Ive also had a lot of luck with introducing them to Jeff Booths book the price of tomorrow. Its a great frame with only a small mention of Bitcoin.

That's a great idea in planting a seed - get them a book that doesn't hammer bitcoin, but leads them to it eventually 🧡. Once they're ready you'll be there to help them down the rabbit hole.
