While I tend to try not to use Flatpak, I do think it could be one of the better options for mobile Linux. Easy to install apps/programs are a must for a platform to gain traction with average people. I think a Flapak repo containing only mobile friendly apps and a frontend to access it could be very useful for normies and allow users access to the same programs regardless of the distro. If somebody unfamiliar with how Linux works is running Mobian and recommends an app to a PostmarketOS user, that app may not be packaged. Mobile Linux makes Flatpak useful, imo. For the rest of use who are familiar with Linux, we can continue to compile from source anything not packaged in the distros repos.
