It would work but it’s not at an engineering standard which i would like. Still much room for innovation here. Shouldn’t have to run any server code, its too hard for most people. I would like to see it done with just relays nostr clients.

It's still proprietary. From non-coding tech-savy person prespective the open source one is better.
