Yeah man. If you're worried about losing a few bucks and don't want an easy zap setup, definitely don't use Wallet of Satoshi. Use Blue Wallet. But if you're not a fucking retard and are cool putting a few bucks in custody and zapping then don't worry about chuds.

Centralized point in a decentralized network. So am I, you or anyone else.
Can the wallet operator control the network? Of course not.
you can also try and learn to run your own Bitcoin lightning node if you want to be in full control - there's also Phoenix and Breez wallet that allegedly act like a ln node on your phone (but idk - have to check it for myself too)
