I'm not super experienced with Germans, but the few young ones I've spoken to seem to hold alot of guilt over WWII and a desire to be better world citizens even at their own expense... I was really blown away by the way they spoke of international issues. I've not heard anyone quite so globalist as Germans. But like I said, it could just be the ones I met.
