the more regulation there is for commercial AI products the better the tailwinds for the success of open source and personally owned and trained AI tools

umm, not quite
overregulation could stifle innovations because it raise barriers for new companies looking to enter the market as well as slow down the progress of the big commercial companies.
just my opinion tho ðŸ«
maybe. my thought is that big centralizing AI will be hamstrung but smaller open source projects will flourish
