What gives you pause? I started using electrum lately for the Jade Wallet. I found a bug in the code that appeared similar to another issue previously corrected. I opened an issue and the devs fixed it overnight. I knew of the project from my Litecoin days when some group had forked it for their use. BTW this is also why I gave up on Litecoin. I saw too few developers supporting Litecoin projects. Anyhow the electrum bitcoin project seemed solid to me. Was there some news throwing doubt on the project?

As for openboard I never heard of it but I'll keep my eye on it.
