When I was 8 or 9, I used to collect silver dimes.

I can’t remember why I started collecting them, but my nan just found an old piggy bank I made as a kid with some of the old dimes in it.

We used to get Canadian coins here when I was a kid but some places wouldn’t take them so I got “stuck” with them. I guess I was also a reluctant Canadian coin collector.

There was a song,

Canadian Money in my pocket.

Quarter ain’t worth a dime.
