Local exchanges here in Japan do the same thing. They just pay very high fee to ensure TX goes through without any care about what is the current rate 🐶🐾😭

You can withdrawal for nearly free if you just send "dollars" from your strike wallet to a lighting wallet you control.

ngl "supposed to be" is kind of a loaded term... They can't charge 0 and just expose users to network fees because they are a business with overhead 🤷‍♂️
