You can't do that if the infrastructure for it is compromised.

Also, most websites use Cloudflare and make VPN's and Tor terrible or blocked

They do, and? Do you need to use most websites?

It is not easy. But selling your private data is lucrative, so don't expect to get it back easily in my opinion.

Sorry, definitely, you are both right, but both of you sounded like who complain. But maybe you had a different intention.

We have hardship definitely. Cloudflare is one big centralizing bad force, that shall be slowly replaced with something else.

But I hope, these negative looking problems are not puting you back to act for your privacy and your freedom.

We shall not give up at the first hardship.

Let's go! 🔥🔥🍻

Good things in life are not easy.

If you want privacy, you have to fight for it. Those who takes advantage of the lack or your privacy will also do the same.

This would make a good multi-panel meme with just "normalize...." at the top or bottom

I tried ProtonVPN for a month and it sucks.

In what sense?

Constant disconnections without warning, the paid servers being slower than the free servers, most of the IPs are blacklisted…. I didn’t like it at all.

That is enshittification in my opinion of Proton.

VPNs will be slower for sure. Because you have added route to your browsing to mask your IP.

Also you will get more captcha for sure.

I think that will only change, if VPN usage is normal, and masses will move from a site that is shitty.

“VPNs will be slower for sure” Oh you got me wrong, I know how VPNs work I’ve used them for many years, I meant to say I tried that one for a month, not VPNs in general. After that I went back to my VPN.

I know they slow down your connection, but I actually was comparing the paid servers to the free servers, both are gonna slow down your regular connection. But It makes no sense that the free proton servers are faster than the paid proton servers.

“Also you will get more captcha for sure.” I also know that VPNs are usually detected for high traffic. But that’s not what I was referring to, that’s different from Blacklisted.

> But It makes no sense that the free proton servers are faster than the paid proton servers.

This is enshittification. When companies are decreasing value for more profit. Might not be the case, but smells like it.

> that’s different from Blacklisted.

Definitely. I think I have not faced only with Tor, the blacklist issue. But I guess it is matter of time then.

and let's do it via censorship resitant protocols so that no one has to ask for permission in order to use them

Make NO phone numbers normal

That's what's up!
