One of my friends got a spam email extorting him. He is an older gentleman and not tech savvy. They wanted $600 in BTC and they gave a BTC receiver address. #bitcoin

If I send to this single address multiple times, each time after they sweep their wallet, can they be traved?

You'll see it on the blockchain, but not the identity. It shows the 2 distinct qualities of #bitcoin - disarmingly beautiful and arguably dark

I understand that this is still possible. There are companies out there who will trace the identity if the crime is big enough.
