I get an error trying to Zap you. I think you have a LNUrl where you need a NIP57 compatible Lightning Address set in that profile box, as well as in the NIP05 box. Then you'll have tips and Zaps enabled. Free one from Vida.page works well for me

While you are on this topic. Can you click my zap and see if it works. No need in sending any ⚡️ just want to make sure the receive is working on my end and you don’t see an error. I can send them fine. 🔥🔥
So basically what Zaps are, are a tip with an 'event' added to them.
Easiest example I can come up with is if you tip, nothing is recorded on Nostr. You just did a P2P transaction with another user.
If you 'Zap', the client you're using (in my case Amethyst) can show who tipped what post & for how much and that amount will be compiled with all of the other tips you might have received on the note you posted so you can see how well a note that you created was received.
Another cool thing you could do, in theory, with Zaps is combine 'Zaps' with 'Likes' & a user could receive a set amount of sats every time you hit the like button on their note.

Yeah this I already knew! Thanks mate! Unfortunately I’m on the regular Damus app so have to wait a bit before i can zap. When I want to zap I just go to the persons profile, and press the lightning button to send them sats. Then I respond “zapped” so everybody thinks I’m cool and can zap 😂😂😂
Idk. I click the LNUrl in your bio and it says some like Could not assemble Lightning Invoice. Never seen that before. Maybe WoS is doing updates for NIP57
So your Lightning Address is an address like an email, that you can get paid Lightning with, even if you are offline.
There are NIP05 and NIP57 compatible types. 05 does a verification check, used for self ID'ing
NIP57 compatible allow that and keeps track of tips on individual posts and on your profile. If you look at mine you should see a Zap tab with some stats of Zaps
So having your profile filled out with a NIP57 Lightning Address in the NIP05 and Lightning Address boxes, allows tips, zaps, stats, and notifications directly in nostr when you get Zapped and from whom
