Can someone ELI5 why snort.social constantly hits my lnurlp endpoint even when zaps are not happening?

damus is getting the pubkey to check the zaps 99 times in a row on every restart of the app on my phone
Yeah it doesn’t cache lnurl pay endpoints between restarts. Either does it cache nip05s. So everytime it opens up the app it makes like 100s of http requests. Pretty sure this is why the nostrica wifi went down when #[4]​ said to say gm #[5]
