Yeah - there's lots and lots of spam we don't see thanks to relays..public relays also do quite a bit of spam filtering

how do relays reject spam?
Don't know exactly - some do IP filtering I think but dunno for sure
It's up them whom to relay and whom to not. Some sort of filtering.
