In 2025 there still isn't a single decent Bitcoin on-chain mobile wallet that: is FOSS, with a good interface, respects privacy, with support for multisig, passphrases and taproot.

GreenWallet is a frankenstein, I don't know how anyone can use that abomination, and their TOR doesn't work half the time.

BlueWallet is a bug fiesta on Android, which is getting worse with each update. All their devs/contributors seem to be using iOS, so no one notices the bugs on Android (it's the only explanation I can come up with)... and it still doesn't support taproot after 4 fucking years.

Every other wallet app out there has shitcoins or is infested with spyware. I'm asking for nothing more than the absolute basics, holy fuck!

#ashigaru

Electrum

Extremely outdated UI/UX, and doesn't support taproot addresses.

I don't use onchain on mobile. Only if I have to open/close LN channels.

Agree electrum is terrible on mobile

Are you not happy with #nunchuk?

In generally, i get your point. You/are forced to use multiple wallets in our phones.

I think, the key is to give permanent feedback, otherwise the developers will not do nothing to fix these issues.

Let me know when you find the right wallet

Yeah it is almost as if no one is using any of these products including the devs so they persist in these half baked states

Use Ashigaru wallet. There is no second best.
