I have to disagree with Dick's take. Almost everything about human behavior and culture is at root genetic, including the tendencies and characteristics of Jews. And there _definitely_ are distinctively Jewish gene patterns -- using DNA analysis, they are 100% distinguishable from their host populations, except in rare edge cases.
